Ingredients: Organic whole durum wheat semolina.

Cooking Instructions: Add to a large pan of salted boiling water and simmer for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain & serve or stir fry with ingredients and serve.

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Water, Colour: Beta Carotene

Organic Orzo Pasta (Risoni) - £0.45 / 100g

A small rice shaped pasta suited to many recipes such as salads, soups. risottos, casseroles and bakes.

Ingredients: Organic durum wheat, Water

Cooking Instructions: Add to a large pan of salted boiling water and simmer for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain & serve.

Organic Cous Cous - £0.30 / 100g

Preparation: For a light fluffy cous cous use 4 parts cous cous to 5 parts water. 1. Put 100g cous cous in a bowl. 2. Add 125ml freshly boiled water (or you can use stock of your choice). 3. Cover and stand for 5 minutes. 4. Stir grains with a fork to fluff up before serving. 100g dried cous cous = approx. 225g cooked.

Organic Pearl Barley - £0.25 / 100g

Cooking Instructions: 1. Add desired amount to simmering water or stock or add directly to soup or casserole base. 2. Cook for 30-40 minutes. 3. Drain if necessary.

Organic Tricolour Quinoa - £0.70 / 100g

Cooking Instructions: 1. Serving size - approximately 1/2 cup of dried quinoa per person. 2. In a sieve, rinse quinoa under tap. 3. Add quinoa to saucepan with twice the amount of fresh water. 4. Bring to the boil, cover with a lid and simmer for around 15 minutes until the water has been absorbed. 5. Stir grains with a fork to fluff up before serving.

Organic Bulgur Wheat £0.33 / 100g

Cooking Instructions: 1. Add wheat to a pan with water and bring to the boil. 2. Reduce heat and cook for 2 minutes. 3. Turn off the heat, cover with a lid and leave to stand for 5 minutes. 4. Drain and serve.

Cooking Instructions: 1. Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. 2. Add penne and simmer uncovered for around 11 minutes. 3. Drain and serve.

Gometi Rigata Pasta (Macaroni) - £0.21 / 100g 

Cooking Instructions: 1. Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. 2. Add macaroni and simmer uncovered for around 8 minutes. Reduce cooking time by 1-2 minutes if using in macaroni cheese or any other pasta bakes. 3. Drain and serve.

Organic Gluten Free Fusilli Pasta - £0.70 / 100g

Ingredients: Corn flour 95%; Rice flour 5%

Easy Cook Long Grain Rice - £0.20 / 100g

Cooking Instructions: 1. Rinse rice under cold running water. 2. Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. 3. Add rice and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes or until tender.

4. Drain in a sieve and serve. 

Organic Basmati Rice - £0.45 / 100g

Cooking Instructions: 1. Cover rice with water and soak for 10-20 minutes. 2. Rinse rice with cold water. 3. Add rice to saucepan with twice the amount of water (100g rice /200ml water). 4. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-12 minutes then stand for 5 minutes. 5. Stir grains with a fork to fluff up before serving. 

Organic Brown Rice - £0.40 / 100g

Cooking Instructions: 1. Rinse rice under cold running water. 2. Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. 3. Add rice and simmer uncovered for 25 minutes or until tender.

4. Drain in a sieve and serve. 

Organic Arborio Risotto Rice - £0.42 / 100g

Cooking Instructions (for risotto): 1. Heat the rice with butter and other risotto ingredients. 2. Gradually add in stock a little at a time, stirring constantly. 3. The rice will be cooked in approximately 25 minutes.

Arborio rice is also great used for rice pudding and paella.

Organic Wild Rice Mix - £0.75 / 100g

Ingredients: Long grain brown rice (80%), Wild rice (10%), Camargue red rice (10%).

 

Cooking Instructions: 1. Rinse under cold running water. 2. Bring a large pan of lightly salted water to the boil. 3. Add the rice mix and simmer uncovered for 40 minutes until tender. 4. Remove from heat, replace lid and allow to steam for 10 minutes.
