Green Speckled (Puy Style) Lentils - £0.40 / 100g

An attractive looking lentil with a mild peppery flavour and a robust texture on cooking.

Cooking instructions: 1. Rinse before use. 2. Bring the pan to a boil over medium heat. 3. Reduce the heat to low and add a pinch of salt. 4. Simmer for 20-25 minutes or until tender.

Organic Red Split Lentils - £0.40 / 100g

A versatile lentil in a quick cook format. Adds creaminess and depth of flavour to many dishes such as soups, curries, bolognese, pies, salads and many more!

Cooking instructions: 1. Bring a pan of water to the boil and add lentils to the pan. 2. Bring back to the boil. 3. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until soft. 4. Season (It is important to season lentils only after cooking to prevent them from hardening).

Organic Yellow Split Peas - £0.35 / 100g

Has a slightly sweet and nutty flavour, which is ideal for use in soups, curries and dhals.

Cooking instructions: 1. Add to pan, cover and bring to the boil. 2. Reduce heat and simmer with a loose fitting lid. 3. Cook for up to 60 minutes, or until soft.

Cooking instructions: 1. Place in a bowl, cover with water and soak overnight or for 8 hours. 2. Rinse, add to saucepan and bring to the boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover with a lid and simmer for up to 1 hour until tender. 4. Drain.

Organic Kidney Beans - £0.45 / 100g

Cooking instructions: 1. Place in a bowl, cover with water and soak overnight or for 8 hours. 2. Rinse twice. 3. Add to saucepan with fresh water, bring to the boil and boil for 10 minutes. 3. Reduce heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 40 - 50 minutes until tender. 4. Drain.
